Ideal for both cats and dogs, the battery operated 5 Meal Pet Feeder delivers food, treats or medication anytime you choose. The easy-to-use LCD display and dishwasher-safe feed tray make it easy to set feeding schedules and clean up after meals. Each section holds up to 230 g of dry food. Portion control is easy to manage for overweight pets. You can feed your pet 5 small meals a day or even set up your pet's meals for the next 5 days.
We really like this feeder for our puppy as she needs three meals a day and we are never here to give her a lunch feeding. I am disappointed that the 5th one is not really an option because of the open section. I am wondering though if anyone else has noticed that it moves two spots every time. My pup sees that it has moved and goes to eat and then it moves one more time. Is that a setting we missed? I'd hate to have it move to an empty spot. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Having checked out a great many pet feeding options online, the Eatwell 5 meal system looked to be the perfect solution. It has proven to be invaluable. The first meal is immediately delivered and the other 4 meals are then timed to allow for 2 meals per day. Your feeder has been perfectly reliable. Obviously my cat is happiest being able to stay at home - and he enthusiastically takes part in filling it. Definitely 5+ stars!
> PetSafe Response: Hey there Me4Cats, it's great to hear that both you and your cat love this Pet Feeder! It certainly does come in handy and helps to give you a little more freedom whilst keeping care of your cat. Have you tried our ScoopFree Self-Cleaning Litter Boxes too? It sounds as though this could also come in handy for you when you're away from home. Anything we can do to help, just let us know! :)
Very pleased with this feeder. It has been very reliable for overnight trips away.
Just one thing - the documentation/manual shows a "no beep icon" on the display, but nowhere does it mention how to set a beep! (and definitely no beeps sounding when in use). With one cat who likes to sleep on our bed and another who is very greedy and sleeps downstairs, it would be good to know that the upstairs cat heard a beep to make sure she got fed!
> PetSafe Response: Hi Tracey, good question; thanks for asking! This product is one of our US models and I'm afraid the manual hasn't been updated to remove mention of the 'beep' icon which is no longer available. Sorry this doesn't solve your need for a beep at this time. If we can help further, just get in touch :)
We've had this feeder for years and only use it when we have to leave town and think it's great.
It's handy for 2 days but if you're gone for longer you need someone to come fill it up but the good thing is the times repeat themselves. You don't have to enter more than two days worth of times.
It should definitely be called a 4-meal feeder as the one bowl is already available. We have to leave it empty when we set it up.
It's been so useful to have and glad we purchased this!
> PetSafe Response: Hey Tris thanks for sharing your feedback with us. The feeder really does give you peace of mind during your short trips. We hope you continue to enjoy it :-)
My cat always used to wake me up really early to be fed, now I can sleep in all I want.
We also often leave on the weekends and it allows her to not eat everything in the first 20 minutes that we have left!
Really great product!!!!!
> PetSafe Response: Hey Andie, thanks for letting us know you really like the Eatwell Feeder! It's one of our favourite products too :-)
I've been using this product for a few months now. If you are planning to be away from home its only good for 4 additional feedings not 5 because one tray is always open to your pet. The programming of the feeder is not intuitive, you need to have the instructions on how to set it up.
So keep those handy.
My biggest complaint is that the battery door is not strong enough to keep the batteries from trying to pop out.
> PetSafe Response: Thanks for the feedback Darrell, I will share this with our product development team. We hope you continue to enjoy your product in the meantime.
