I have bought three fountains in the past 6 years. The first was the platinum fountain the second was another platinum fountain the third was the the 360 stainless steel fountain. My first fountain was in perfect condition but the pump wore out.I called customer service Canada and was told I'd have to order a pump from the US. I looked all over trying to find a pump in Canada that I could use in the fountain but to no avail.I called the US Pet Safe and found that to get a new pump would cost as much as buying a new fountain what with the change in money and shipping costs.
I then bought the 360 stainless model and after one and a half years the pump quit working. I then bought another platinum fountain so I could use the pump on the stainless fountain. This pump now has wires not connecting in the pump housing causing the pump to turn off and on . SO now I have two perfectly fine fountains one of which has never been used but no pump. I will not be paying the price of a new fountain to get a pump from the US therefore my 3 dogs and 5 cats will not be getting the benifit of the filtered flowing water they have come to love. If you can't supply parts in Canada for the products that you sell in Canada then don't sell these products in Canada!! Many people ask how I like the fountains but I tell them not to buy them because you can't
afford the replacement parts. Totaĺ waste of money and who can afford to waste money? At least put a message on the box saying replacement parts not sold in Canada .Buy at own risk. At $130.00 + taxes I doubt anyone would take a chance on buying.

When properly maintained, these pumps should be lasting much longer than you've described. To keep everything working, we recommend to disassemble the pump for cleaning, twice a month. This process is demonstrated in this brief video: https://www.youtube.com/embed/4wkxV0OEc2g

I bought this fountain back in 2011 in hopes of breaking my cats habit with wanting to drink out of the tub tap and get her drink more water. Well it’s 2018 and the motor finally died. That’s way longer than the one year I got out of a plastic cheaper version. This fountain is great! Easy to clean and you can control the flow of water which is great since my cat only likes a trickle of water!! I will definitely be buying this fountain again!! It’s definitely worth the money!
Great fountain, had it for 4 years and the cats love it. Now I need to replace the rubber gasket that goes around the filter housing. Why are they not available for ordering here? I was on the American site and cannot enter a Canadian address for shipping. This would be a shame after spending this amount of money on a product where I cannot get replacement parts.
